The Camden Wollondilly Domestic Violence Committee initiated the establishment of a Shelter in 2016. Members of the Committee are representatives of community sector organisations that support women and families experiencing domestic violence, homelessness and disadvantage.

Organisations include:

• Macarthur Women’s Court Advocacy Service (Convenor), the DV Committee is auspiced by Macarthur Legal Centre,
• NSW Police,    NSW Department Housing,    South Western Sydney Area Health    Centrelink,    Camden and Wollondilly Councils
• WILMA Women’s Health Centre,…Benevolent Society for Women and Children’s Health,    Baptist Care,    Big Yellow Umbrella    Community Links Wellbeing,    Mothers Hubbard’s Cupboard, .. Turning Point.   Macarthur Gateway, Macarthur Case Management Services (St Vincent de Paul) Sector Connect and Community members
