Blue Wren House – Camden Women’s Shelter is delighted to announce its annual high tea event, Splash of Blue, to be held on Friday, 20 March 2026, at the beautiful Camden Valley Inn.
This elegant and heartfelt event invites our local community to come together for an afternoon of connection, generosity, and purpose, while raising essential funds to support women and children experiencing homelessness as a result of domestic and family violence.
For every woman we are able to support through Camden Women’s Shelter, there are nine more we currently cannot. Last year alone, Blue Wren House provided emergency accommodation to more than 60 women and children, a powerful reminder of both the growing need in our region and the life-changing impact that community support makes possible.

Since opening in 2024, the shelter has provided a safe, welcoming space for women and children escaping violence, offering short-term accommodation, essential resources, and compassionate care during a critical time in their lives.
“Our shelter was founded by the community, for the community. Every ticket purchased and every sponsorship confirms to the women and children who walk through our doors that they are not alone,” said Kim Meredith, Board Chair of Camden Women’s Shelter.
