Domestic Violence Line - 1800 65 64 63
The NSW Government’s Domestic Violence Line (DV Line) is a 24/7 crisis intervention service for women who experience intimate partner or ex-partner violence. The service provides crisis counselling, advocacy, and assists with referrals to crisis accommodation and women’s refuges.
Women experiencing violence are provided crisis counselling over the phone and/or referred directly to services for face-to-face assessment and support, using interpreter services when needed.
Link2Home - 1800 152 152
From 9am to 10pm daily, Link2home provides callers with information, assessments and referrals to homelessness support and accommodation services across NSW.
Callers to Link2home will receive one or more of the following:
information about local services
an assessment to determine what kind of help is needed
referral to appropriate specialist homelessness services (SHS), support services, temporary accommodation and/or other services.
Link2home also provides information about homelessness services across NSW to SHS providers and homelessness advocates acting on behalf of clients.
