A new Television for the shelter– Oran Park High School Students’ Fundraiser

A TV may seem small, but in our common room it is a lifeline. Women and children gather around it to unwind after long, stressful days, catch up on news, watch movies together and feel a bit more “at home”.

Students from Oran Park High School recently completed Walk the Talk, the Women’s Community Shelters program that builds respectful-relationship skills and empathy. Inspired to keep helping, they have chosen Camden Women’s Shelter as their first real-world project. Their goal: raise funds to buy and install a reliable smart TV for our lounge.

Camden Women’s Shelter is a registered charity. Donations over $2 are tax-deductible and you will receive an automated receipt. We will share a photo of the new TV once it is set up so you can see the impact of your gift.
